With a fresh and modern approach, we’re all about the whisky and the chat. So whether you’re a collector, a casual Friday night fan or a whisky novice, why not join us on our whisky travels where there’s no stuffy jargon, no pipe-and-slippers elitism and definitely no rules!
Those amazing guys and gals at the Crossing, White Hart Lane in Barnes have been hosting us since February 2023 and the feedback from those attending has been fantastic. There has been a great vibe in the room, and that isn’t just to do with the room itself, it’s down to you wonderful people that have been attending and, what these tastings are all about, chatting to one another about the drams we’ve been tasting. It is a real pleasure to host them and I love the feedback that you have given.
Should anyone wish to hold a tasting party for friends or colleagues, tailor-made to suit your desires, then please contact me and I will be happy to discuss this further.

The dates for 2026 are as follows:
January 22nd – Burns’ Night Whisky Tasting with The Whisky Don
Join us at The Crossing as we explore 5 special drams with links to Scotland’s famous Bard. And what a line up we will have for you including the headliner, of course, Timorous Beastie, named after Burns’ famous field mouse. But ignore the name, it has a mighty roar!
Tickets cost £35 (£25 for Whisky Don Whisky Club members – join via my website) and include 5 delicious drams, nibbles, and of course the best whisky chat in town. Over 18s only.
So come along and raise a glass with us as we toast The Bard.
The tasting starts at 19.30ish… or get there early to enjoy a meal from The Crossings amazing menu and receive 25% discount of food orders prior to the tasting.
Not forgetting that there will be some of the best whisky chat in town!
